About us
A family hotel on the Kommeno peninsula, run by the people who live here.

Who we are
Nefeli has been in our family for more than 30 years, and we have run it ourselves the whole time. Many guests come back every summer, and some of our team have been with us for most of those years.
We are at the house most days, and the team is small enough that you will know everyone’s name by the second morning. Come and say hello.

The house
An old Corfiot mansion in an olive grove, with low wings spread out among the trees and the bay below. One long pool, a bar under the olives, and shade wherever you look.
Nefeli is the Greek name of a cloud nymph. It suits a house that sits so lightly between the trees.
Our way
- Quiet
- No entertainment programme, no loud music, no crowds. If you want to read a whole book by the pool, this is the place. Children are welcome; the hotel is simply arranged for adults.
- Personal
- We are small enough to learn your name. Write to us before you arrive and a person answers, usually one of the family.
- Local
- Corfiot honey, olive oil, cheese and fruit at breakfast, family tavernas 2 minutes away for dinner, and our own tips for where to swim and eat.
What’s coming
We are renewing Nefeli step by step: oak furniture we make in our own workshop, new bathrooms, and rooms redone a group at a time, all in one calm Corfiot style. Two new suites are planned.
Members of our club hear about each step first.
